You will recall that during the Rwanda Tourism Week 2022 which was organised by the Rwanda Tourism Chamber in partnership with the African Tourism Board, held in various locations in Rwanda for two weeks had many delegates both from and outside Africa attended.

One of such was an organization named Project Tourism Africa, a tourism project of a Nigerian multi-billionaire, Ned Nwoko, who has a great vision to repositioning African tourism with novel initiatives .

The award reads: “Award For Tourism Champion, presented to Cuthbert Ncube, in recognition of your contribution to strengthening public and private sector services and your dedication and contribution towards the upliftment of African Tourism”.

This award came at the right time when there has been an urgent need for us as Africans to recognize and appreciate individuals that are front runners of lofty initiatives aimed at enhancing and promoting the continent, especially in the tourism space.
