ATB Fecilitates Amb. Ngozi Ngoka as she Receives “Excellence in Tourism Advocacy” Award

The African Tourism Board through its Executive Chairman, Hon. Cuthbert Ncube felicitates Amb. Ngozi Ngoka, a Member of ATB who recently received an award of “Excellence in Tourism Advocacy ” at the UNWTO Gala Dinner which took place at the Landmark Center, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.

We will continue to harness the great initiatives from our members and support their efforts advancing tourism in their various communities. wishing her great success in all her endeavors”. Ncube said.

The dinner was the climax of the main event of the “UNWTO Global Conference On Linking Tourism, Culture And the Creative Industries: Pathways to Recovery and Inclusive Development” that took place at the iconic National Theater, Lagos where the Secretary General of the UNWTO, Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili and other prominent global tourism stakeholders converged to deliberate on the best ways to harness the enormous potential prevalent within the creative space in Nigeria for development.

Hon. Lai Muhammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, Federal Republic of Nigeria hosted his counterparts from all over the world to a very attractive and successful event in the recent time.

This award was given to Amb. Ngozi Ngoka in recognition of her work in Tourism Advocacy in Nigeria, having worked in the sector for more than 25 years.

She was the former Director General of Imo State Tourism Board, Nigeria, Board Chairperson of Tourism Consultants Forum and Thematic lead for the Tourism and Hospitality Industries Group (THITG) of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) among other roles.
